Brett and Sofia are both originally from Southern California and both pursued their degree from Auburn University. They didn’t meet, however, until fall of 2023 when Brett was coaching at F45. After a few months (that seemed like forever), Brett finally asked Sofia out 4 weeks before he left for basic training for the US Army. They wrote letters for two and a half months, and reunited in April in South Carolina, where they first said “I love you”. Since then, Brett has been stationed in Virginia and Florida, and Sofia is in her final semester at Auburn University. The couple has been dating since January 16, 2024, and Brett proposed to Sofia when celebrating their one year anniversary in Seaside, Florida, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
